The seed of Recipe Roots cultivated accidentally, yet immediately, when I discovered a notebook tucked away inside my grandmother's kitchen bench. Its pages, scribbled in ink and pencil, in English and Cyrillic, were full of recipes, dates and annotations. I wondered if there were more, and sure enough, there was. What I found sandwiched in-between old cookbooks, photo albums, personal belongings, nooks and crannies would become a personal exploration of what it truly means to be part of the family.
A commemorative stamp package paying homage to four influential women working in and with type. The package features typefaces designed by Zuzana Licko, Jessica Hische, Emily Conners and Molly Jacques.
